The event commemorated the three officers' over 95 years of combined service, and was presided over by Maj. Gen. James T. Walton, director of USFK Transformation and Restationing.

    Ribbon-cutting opens railhead

    The railhead at Camp Humphreys was officially opened in a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and a tracked engineer recovery vehicle was the first vehicle to roll off the train and onto the railhead on Feb. 17, 2016.

    Commander receives Korean name

    The Republic of Korea-U.S. Alliance Friendship Association presented a Korean name to Col. Stephen H. Bales, commander and district engineer of the Far East District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, at a ceremony at the Korea Ministry of National Defense on Nov. 19.
