    Building strong partnerships: USACE Far East District commander receives honorary Korean name

    USAG HUMPHREYS, South Korea – The Republic of Korea-U.S. Alliance Friendship Association presented a Korean name, Woo, Jae-hee, to Col. Jeremiah J. Willis, commander, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Far East District, during a ceremony in Seoul, South Korea, on Dec. 13, 2024. He also earned an honorary Taekwondo black belt during the event.
  • Ribbon cut on brand-new dining facility ahead of the holidays at Kunsan Air Base

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Far East District, 8th Fighter Wing, Republic of Korea Ministry of National Defense – Defense Installations Agency and unit representatives celebrated the ribbon cutting for a brand-new dining facility (DFAC) at Kunsan Air Base, South Korea, on Dec. 16, 2024.
  • Building leaders: Three USACE Far East District employees graduate leadership program

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Far East District recognized three employees for completing the USACE Leadership Development Program (ULDP) Level 3 Dec. 5, 2024, in a virtual ceremony. The class included 10 people from across USACE Pacific Ocean Division. ULDP aims to cultivate leadership at all levels within USACE “regardless of their formal position or role in their organization, to develop their leadership potential, knowledge and skills.”
