    $1.6 million renovations underway for USAG Humphreys Command Group

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Far East District’s (USACE FED) Project 520595, which is the renovations of the first and third floor to accommodate the USAG Humphreys Command Group, the Plans, Analysis and Integration Office (PAIO) and the Internal Review and Audit Compliance Officer (IRACO) is currently under construction on Camp Humphreys, South Korea.

    American Concrete Institute training provides immediate payoff for FED

    KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea – Two weeks after concrete field testing training and certification, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Far East District Kunsan Resident Office began to employ the knowledge gained from the American Concrete Institute, which hosted the course at District headquarters in October.

The new facility will support security operations for the Battle Command Training Center, which will contribute to increased security operations for USFK.

    USAG HUMPHREYS, Republic of Korea — Far East District personnel took advantage of the American Concrete Institute certification offered by trainers from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Savannah District, Materials Testing Regional Technical Center of Expertise, and the USACE Engineering Research and Development Center, based in Vicksburg, Miss., Sept. 27 – Oct. 8.
