USACE FED earns esteemed Army Safety and Occupational Health Star

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Far East District engaged in a rigorous two-week process Army Safety and Occupational Health Star Evaluation Team, which resulted in successfully earning the Army Safety and Occupational Health Star, May 28, 2026, in South Korea. During the process, the Army SOH Star Evaluation Team—consisting of four individuals within USACE—determines if the USACE FED’s safety management system was “properly designed, implemented and maintained.” Part of the process includes visiting and inspecting construction sites visits throughout South Korea.
